昨年に引き続き、Manila Books＆Gift主催 Tiny splendorによるリソグラフワークショップを開催いたします！！！

カリフォルニア州バークレーを代表するアーティスト、リソグラフ印刷の出版社“Tiny Splendor“を率い、
プリンターとして活躍するMax Stadnik氏をお招きし、リソグラフのワークショップを開催します。

日時：2024年08月31日(土) 10:00〜16:00（予定）
開催場所：愛知県名古屋市中区新栄2丁目2ｰ19新栄グリーンハイツ205 “のわ“

※当店に隣接するイベントスペースとなります。
名古屋市営地下鉄、東山線新栄町駅より徒歩5分

内容：リソグラフ作品を制作します。初心者向けなのでお気軽にご参加下さい。

持ち物：筆記具（使い慣れたペンや黒い鉛筆、絵の具等）
コラージュ作成をご希望の方は新聞、広告、古雑誌、食品パッケージ等の材料
★濃い色の物を推奨します。

当日の流れ
①10:00～12:00 (2時間) リソグラフの基本的な説明の後、手書きまたはコラージュで作品を制作していただきます。

②12:00-13:00(1時間) ランチタイム
@daisysgroceryさんによる飲食の出店を予定しております。

③13:00～16:00 (3時間) 各作品をリソグラフにアップロードし印刷します。
その過程でMax氏による簡単な追加や、または変更をアドバイスしていただけます。

✴︎Tiny Splendorの新作書籍、印刷物の販売も予定しております。当店は現金支払いのみとなります。ご了承ください。

We are excited to host Risograph Workshop by Tiny Splendor, organized by Manila Books & Gift!

We are thrilled to welcome Max Stadnik, the artist and printer behind “Tiny Splendor,” a leading Risograph printing publisher based in Berkeley, California. Max will be conducting the Risograph workshop.

Date & Time:
Saturday, August 31, 2024
10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (tentative)

Venue:
Nowa, Shinsakae Green Heights 205, 2-2-19 Shinsakae, Naka-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture

5 minutes walk from Shinsakaemachi Station on the Nagoya City Subway Higashiyama Line

Workshop Content:
Participants will create Risograph prints. This workshop is designed for beginners, so feel free to join!

Workshop Fee:
7,700 yen (bank transfer only)

What to Bring:

• Writing instruments (your favorite pens, black pencils, paints, etc.)
• If you wish to create a collage, bring materials like newspapers, advertisements, old magazines, food packaging, etc.
  Dark-colored materials are recommended.

Workshop Schedule:

1. 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (2 hours):
   After a basic introduction to Risograph, you will create your artwork by hand or collage.
2. 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM (1 hour):
   Lunchtime
   We are planning to have food and drinks available from @daisysgrocery.
3. 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM (3 hours):
   Upload and print your artwork using the Risograph. Max will provide advice on any adjustments or changes during the process.

We will also be selling new books and prints from Tiny Splendor. Please note that we accept cash payments only.

Important Notes:

• We recommend that participants come with an idea of what they want to create.
• Due to time constraints, please refrain from asking technical questions about Risograph operation during the workshop.
• We cannot accept digital data submissions. Please bring your work in printed form.
